About Chris Kent
Beginning his training in 1973 in Dan Inosanto’s famous “Backyard” Jeet Kune Do class, Chris has been deeply immersed in Bruce Lee’s martial art and philosophy for five decades and is widely acknowledged as one of the world’s foremost authorities on Jeet Kune Do.
He has gained international recognition for his knowledge, leadership, and contributions in perpetuating the art, training methods, and philosophy developed by Lee.
Chris’ friendship and affiliation with Lee’s family, personal assistants, students, and friends allows him to hold a unique position in the JKD world, that of a direct pipeline to Bruce Lee’s art and philosophy.
While holding true to the original spirit and vision with which Bruce Lee developed Jeet Kune Do, Chris’ extensive research into the foundations of the art from a technical, philosophical and spiritual perspective, as well as educating himself in the fields of exercise physiology, kinesiology and human performance, gives him a perspective no one else possesses and has earned him the position of being one of the most sought-after instructors of the art.
Possessing an exuberant teaching style as well as an uncanny ability to transfer knowledge to students and teachers alike, Chris is recognized as a teacher par excellence.

Cass Magda has been conducting seminars for over twenty five years in various cities in the US, Canada, Australia, England, Ireland, Norway, Scotland, Finland, France, Germany, Spain, Sweden , Italy and Greece. He is the founder of the MI Association with teaching branches in the USA and Europe.
First known throughout the world as one of Dan Inosanto’s (Bruce Lee’s premier disciple) top JKD and Filipino Kali students, Magda has continued to build a solid reputation as an instructor of high quality who presents excellent information at his seminars.
He is dedicated to the education, development and presentation of authentic Indonesian and Filipino martial arts as well as the continuous evolution of Bruce Lee’s furious art of Jeet Kune Do.

In 2015, Sifu Cass Magda and Sifu Chris Kent conducted the first Titans of JKD seminar. In addition to intensive and comprehensive physical training, stories, connections, and conversations were remembered and imparted upon an eager group of participants.
The Titans of JKD experience not only inspired those who attended the events but also strengthened the resolve of Chris and Cass to strive to educate and empower JKD practitioners in every corner of the globe.
Upholding the original integrity and intent of Bruce Lee’s vision and trajectory for his art and working to help develop creative, free-thinking, liberated martial artists, Chris and Cass designed the Titans of JKD seminars to immerse participants in all aspects of Jeet Kune Do: technical, scientific and philosophical.
‘TITANS OF JKD 4’ Seminar
Each day of the Titans of JKD 4 seminar will provide an elite level of in-depth instruction and authentic insights into JKD. Examples of things that will be covered during the seminar include, but are not limited to, foundational influences of JKD, developing technical tools and honing skills, and training methodology.
Participants will gain deeper understanding of JKD techniques, movement vocabulary, and how to cultivate we refer to as the “JKD Mindset.” In addition, each day will include a question-and-answer session.
